AKAI has recently presented a big, 15” Digital Picture Frame to the marketplace. The dimension of the frame is amazing, and it will bring out the particulars of your pictures, making them more pleasing to look at. It does not come with a bunch of features, which can be a positive thing, but also depends on who you are. If you are a novice person who only desires to have a digital picture frame to show the pictures of loved ones and photographs of your vacations and your masterpieces, then this AKAI digital picture frame is precisely what you have asked for.
The AKAI digital picture frame is built using choice glossy plastic as the frame. Not only that, the gloss has also been utilized to the 15” screen. The material body is above average, giving this item a big first-impression.
The AKAI digital picture frame supports both USB and mini-USB port interfaces. The card reader supports SD, xD, CompactFlash, MMC, and MemoryStick; JPEG picture format is supported for images and to the degree that movies go, MPEG1, MPEG2, and MPEG4 video formats are supported, along with MP3 for audio.
A shortcoming of this digital LCD frame is its lack of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. A lot of the present-day digital LCD frames are equipped with both of these technologies, which allow you to utilize your PC to transfer newly taken photographs to your digital picture frame, among some other things. Even so, the AKAI digital picture frame is best for novice individuals who may have a hard time working with the Wi-Fi or the Bluetooth. Think about it, how would you like to explain what Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are to your 75 years old mother and how they can be used?
Another shortcoming is the lack of internal memory. If there is internal memory, you can download and save your pictures and videos in the digital picture frame. If internal memory is not there, you have to plug in your memory card to the AKAI to dislplay the photos. Or you can attach the4 digital camera to the AKAI to display the pictures. Even so, let us not forget that this AKAI is best suited for amateur users, for example, you may want to give the AKAI to the grandparents or parents with an SD card that already is full of pics of the kids and more, etc. This way, they just turn on the digital picture frame and it’s ready to go.

On top of the fact that it is easy to handle, a Dell notebook doesn’t go too deep in your pocket. Sony BRAVIA KDL46W4100 Customer Review

The Sony KDL46W4100 is an attractive and completely featured LCD tv set. We were quite impressed by its performance, deep, correct white colors and a vivid display. But there are negative sides, because the color reproduction is slightly off and the viewing angle are not quite great.
If you look often some type of fast moving action on your television, then this HD television has got a plenty of things to offer you. The Sony KDL46W4100 performance was good in our movement tests. We experienced clean movement with videos that contained lots of movement, and the TV had no problem processing an image.
This Sony televison supports a full HD or real HD signal. The selection of connectors is nice, having a 4 HDMI connectors. Too bad that this TV doesn’t have a USB connector or some card reader.
This televison also provides TruSurround and that is a patented SRS technology that enables playing 5.1 channel sound over 2 speakers. This television has a great virtual surround sound with any two speaker sound system, including internal TV speaker systems and headphones. It is totaly compatible with any surround format up to 5.1 channels.
This television also has three sound improving technologies to reproduce an amazing sound. Tremendous sound with the outstanding image quality truly makes this Sony Bravia TV a solid one.
The Sony Bravia KDL46W4100 executed well in our testing of blacks and whites. Black colors were very deep, especially for an LCD TV of this price range. Whites and greys were rich and precise.
This TV really has excellent colors, we have seen consistent whites and a clear, accurate representation of the primary colors that are used to make all colors on the screen. We were satisfied with the coloring, but we did notice a really small problem with the televisions color gamut, and that means colors maybe won’t always come out exactly they should.
Maybe the largest issue with this LCD TV is a viewing angle. Moving away from center we found that the contrast ratio was {decreasing}. Contrast is the difference in reproducing the dark and light colors. This tv set doesn’t have a very good viewing angle, even for an LCD TV, which usually don’t have good viewing angle as Plasma tv.
The remote control of this TV is very enjoyable to hold and well laid out with the only one little issue that the controls for direction are at the different ends of the remote from the volume pushes. The menu on the television is like of that used in the Playstation 3, and will need some time getting used to it.
Energy consumption was just about average. You can have turned on this television without worrying you’ll get a big bill for electrics.
This Sony KDL46W4100 is a really nice LCD TV, with a solid characteristics and outstanding handling on about all fields. The viewing angle fact will be a bit of a problem for some. If you want a TV is going to sit in a place where people will be looking at it from all angles you may want to go with a Plasma. If this isn’t an problem for you, then you will be getting your money’s value with the Sony KDL46W4100.
You can read more about Sony KDL46W4100 on our Sony LCD TV part of our portal. If you don’t like Sony check out this Samsung LN52A750.
