The Guys: A fire branch commander who lost 8 gentlemen in the nine/eleven Planet Trade Hub catastrophe gets help from a virtuoso author as he disposes to transfer eulogies for the departed. Based on Anne Nelson’s play, this looks surprisingly well as a film, as a result of restrained feelings, truthful performances by the 2 megastars, and the nobility it finds in the lives of normal hardworking individuals. Controller Simpson co-scripted with Nelson; Weaver is his spouse. Cast includes Sigourney Weaver, and Anthony LaPaglia. (88 minutes, 2003)
The Last Of The Mohicans: A love story set in the war torn Northeastern U.S. between the English and the French, with different American Indians on either side. Hawkeye a frontiersman adopted by the Mohican Indian named Chingach Gook falls in love with the daughter of an English officer. Can Hawkeye and Cora’s love survive through the battles that surround them?
Only Angels Have Wings: Youthful gal fantasies of supporting toy cadets in battle contrary to sinister Mouse Baron in this flat rewording of the classic tale. It is set to Tchaikovsky music. Slow paced low-spending limit excited characteristic, based on the E. T. A. Hoffmann reserve the Nutcracker and the Mouse Emperor; a Disney wannabe that easily isn’t. Cast includes Cary Permit, Jean Arthur, Richard Barthelmess, Rita Hayworth, Thomas Mitchell, Peter Boretski, and Phyllis Diller. (121 minutes, 1939)
The Day The Earth Stood Still: This is a remake of the 1951 sci-fi classic. An alien spacecraft has landed on Earth. An alien named Klaatu is taken by the military. Klaatu explains that his robot Gorti has the power to destroy the Earth, and will do so if Earth proves to be a danger to the galaxy.
So Well Remembered: Producer James Hilton depicts legend adjusted by John Paxton of genuine newspaper editor Plants decided to progress living circumstances in plant town, diverted by matrimony to blindly ambitious female Scott. Extremely youthful Juliet Factories has tad part. Cast includes John Factories, Martha Scott, Trevor Howard, Patricia Roc, Richard Carlson, and Ivor Barnard. (114 minutes, 1947)
The Shadow: This film is based on the 1930’s comics. The Shadow is called into action when his fiercest rival Shiwan Khan is attempting to take over the world. Khan’s plan is to hold a large city hostage with an atomic bomb, and through this take over the world.
Mysterious Skin: Sponging up, upsetting tirade in reference to 2 teenagers who are connected by a hurtful episode in their past. One Gordon Levitt is a careless, dulled gay hustler; the other Corbet is an extremely bothered introvert who has deleted the happening from his memory. The controller inscribed, based on a novel by Scott Hei. Cast includes Brady Corbel, Joseph Levitt, Elisabeth Shue, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Richard Riehle, Billy Drago, and Chris Mulkey. (99 minutes, 2004)
